Lipspeaking/Lipspeakers:
Lipspeaking is a communication support service for deaf and hard of hearing people who use lipreading as their preferred method of communication.
As a qualified Lipspeaker, I silently repeat what is being said using clear, natural lip patterns, facial expressions and appropriate gesture, making speech easier to lipread and understand. Where appropriate, finger spelling can also be used to support communication.
Lipspeaking enables people to access conversations more effectively in a wide range of settings, helping them participate confidently and independently while ensuring communication remains accurate, impartial and professional.
